I JUST READ AN INTERESTING
examination of oil consumption and its use in our modern world. It is done in a
cartoon format, with Buckminster 'Bucky' Fuller as the hero, and it outlines the rise of
fossil fuels and how we are living far beyond our means because of our misuse
of this non-renewable resource. It's worth a view.
p.s. I did not know that Buckminster Fuller coined the term "Energy Slaves". He invented the geodesic dome and the three-wheeled Dymaxion car (well, okay, the car wasn't his best idea, as it tended to tip over, but hey, the guy was a freaking genius for the most part!)
